OUR FAMILY
Oaktone Landscape is a family owned and operated business, rooted in Galion Ohio. Although the business was founded and started by Ben, his family has a large part of the daily operations and growth. His wife, Kate, joined the business in early 2017 and together they have been tenacious in their commitment to their team and community and take great pride in their company.
Kate and Ben have many blessings but are most grateful for their three children (Maddie, Jaxon and Landon), two great Pyrenees (Nashville and Gracie) and the most recent addition is a "tiny Kit-E" named Cheetoh.
Jaxon has taken an active role in the field - both working on landscapes and lawns, operating the wheel loader during snow season and taking arial photographs all year. For fun, Jaxon enjoys WORKING (on a local farm AND for Oakstone); flying his drone and playing FarmSim with friends.
Landon aspires to be an architect. He is an animal lover who would save them ALL if he could. His favorite position is playing Goalie for Galion U12 Soccer team. Landon practices karate and enjoys playing Pokemon.
With over two decades of experience and knowledge, Ben's favorite part of the business is challenging or "brain tingling" ideas that allow him to use his creativity and be "set free". If you are looking for a UNIQUE landscape or solution, He is the guy!
The company started with a used truck/trailer and mower and has grown to a fleet of over 15 trucks and a MULTITUDE of equipment to ensure NO Task is too big. We proudly wear uniforms and all trucks/equipment have logos intentionally. We hire folks that are PROUD to work for us and are excited about what they do.
